iPlayTV is a neat, simple Apple TV app that you buy once instead of paying every month. You get a full TV guide, several playlists, catch-up with Xtream Codes, favourites and subtitles. If you want more luxury, IPTVX does more, but it works on a subscription.

- Open App Store on your device and search for "iPlayTV".
- Install the app and open it.
- Add your subscription: choose Xtream Codes (server, username and password) or an M3U link and enter the details from your IPTV provider.
- Add an EPG link if you want the TV guide.
- Switch on Match TV frame rate in the settings for smooth picture.
- Wait for the channels and the TV guide to load; with a large playlist the first time takes a while.
