Combining IPTV and Videoland: The Best Setup for Your Household
IPTV and Videoland complement each other perfectly: live TV and sport through IPTV, Dutch series and films through Videoland. Here's how to set it up for a series lover, a sports fan or a family, and how to add Netflix and Viaplay too.

In this article
If you live in the Netherlands and search for IPTV Videoland, you probably want to know how to use live TV and Videoland together. It makes sense: Videoland has Dutch series, films and shows you won't find elsewhere, while IPTV gives you live channels, sport and a big library of films and series. Together they cover almost every evening in front of the TV.
There's no single best setup for everyone. So we show three: for the series lover, the sports fan and the family. Pick the one that fits you. If you mainly want to know how to put streaming apps and IPTV on one device, read our step-by-step guide IPTV and Netflix on one device.

What does what?
- Genova TV (IPTV): live Dutch, Belgian and international channels, live sport, a TV guide and a library of 200,000+ films and series in up to 4K. In total more than 45,000 channels in our premium package.
- Videoland: RTL's official streaming service, with its own Dutch series, films and shows, in the Videoland app.
- Netflix and Viaplay: their own apps with their own catalogues; Viaplay is especially known for series and sport.
Important: you always use Videoland, Netflix and Viaplay through their own official app, with your own account. You simply put those apps next to your IPTV app on the same device.
Setup 1: the series lover
You mostly watch series, often Dutch ones, and live TV is only on for the news.
- Device: Smart TV or Fire TV Stick 4K.
- Apps: Videoland first, then your IPTV app for live TV and the film library.
- Tip: use the series and film categories in your IPTV app. With more than 200,000 titles, one separate streaming service next to IPTV is often enough.
Setup 2: the sports fan
The weekend is about football, Formula 1 or darts, with a series in between.
- Device: Android TV box or Fire TV Stick 4K Max, ideally with a network cable.
- Apps: your IPTV app first, with favourites for your sports channels. Then Videoland or Viaplay.
- Tip: open the TV guide in your IPTV app on the sports group, so you see at a glance what's live. Test your connection on a busy Saturday evening.
Setup 3: the family
Parents want the news and a series, children want their own channels and cartoons.
- Device: one device per TV, for example a Smart TV in the living room and a Fire TV Stick in the bedroom.
- Apps: IPTV app with separate favourite lists, Videoland with profiles for adults and children.
- Tip: hide channel groups you never use, so the list stays clear for everyone.

Set it up in five minutes
- Install the Videoland app (and Netflix or Viaplay if you like) from the official app store and sign in.
- Install an IPTV app such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, or IBO Player on Samsung and LG.
- Enter your Genova TV details using Xtream Codes or M3U.
- Arrange the apps in the order that fits your setup.
- Turn on HDMI-CEC, so one remote controls everything.
What does it cost?
You pay for each service separately. Genova TV starts from €7 per month. You decide which streaming services to keep on top of that. Many customers keep just one, because our library already offers plenty of films and series.
