Our verdict
IPTV Extreme: good
IPTV Extreme is for Android and Android TV users who want a lot of features for almost no money. It handles Xtream, M3U and MAG logins, a TV guide, recording and a parental lock. The catch is that the free version shows ads and the app only runs on Android.
IPTV Extreme is only a player: to watch TV you still need an IPTV subscription. Compare the providers in Best IPTV 2026.

What IPTV Extreme looks like
- IPTV Extreme playback screen with an info bar showing the current and next programme
IPTV Extreme channel list with a progress bar and programme description from the TV guide
You sign in with an Xtream login, an M3U playlist or a MAG portal, and the app builds a TV guide and a library of films and series from it. It also records with timers and has a parental lock. The free version is supported by ads. The Pro version removes them for a single payment of €1.19 on Google Play. This review covers what the app does well and where it falls short.
Free version or Pro
IPTV Extreme is free to install, and the free version carries ads. The Pro version removes them and costs €1.19 once on Google Play. There is no subscription to keep paying for.
Because the Pro app is a separate Google Play listing, check which one you are installing. The free app is the one to try first if you want to see how it behaves with your own subscription.
Adding playlists and portals
You can add a playlist inside the app. The developer also offers an optional web portal on iptvextreme.eu, where you can manage playlists in a browser instead of typing long addresses with a TV remote.
Support for MAG and Stalker portals is unusual among Android players. If your subscription comes as a portal address rather than an Xtream login, this app can take it.
TV guide and recording
The channel list shows a progress bar and a programme description taken from the TV guide, and the playback screen has an info bar for the current and next programme. That gives you the essentials without leaving the picture.
Recording works with timers, which many players on Android TV leave out. The app has a lot of options, so expect to spend some time in the settings before it feels the way you want.

Choose this app if…
you use Android TV or an Android phone and want recording, a TV guide and several login types for a one-off €1.19.
Skip it if…
you want the smoothest remote-first TV guide on Android TV; TiviMate is built around that, and the app does not run on Apple or Windows devices.
